Communicating Japan’s Pollution Experience to the World

There is a variety of pollution and environmental problems around the world. When health and lives were threatened by severe pollution in Japan, the victims rose to action, and worked in league with physicians, scientists, lawyers, and other professionals to eliminate pollution.

We want to communicate this experience to many people round the world, exchange information with them in order to prevent such damage, and together stop pollution and solve environmental problems. Those feelings are behind the Aozora Foundation’s international exchange initiatives using primarily the Japanese experience with air pollution.

This site provides information on Japan’s pollution experience and on our international exchange efforts in several languages (Japanese, English, Chinese, and Korean).
